  • Course Lead for Introduction to the UKCA Model

Role:

I have developed and organised training in the United Kingdom Chemistry and Aerosols (UKCA) model since 2014. This has been regularly updated and now makes use of AWS cloud-based technology and video walkthroughs to provide a consistent and stable platform, ensuring the best possible student experience. The flexibility provided by this delivery method means that this course can be run either in-person or online and on-demand, greatly increasing its accessibility.

In addition, I am the NCAS Scientific Training Programme Lead and co-chair of the NCAS Training Group, as well as being a certified Carpentries Instructor. In the past I have supported the organisation of the CMSS and AMSS NCAS courses.
