The NCAS Buddy Network aims to support new starters by pairing them with experienced staff members from similar fields but based at a different NCAS location. This initiative is designed to foster a supportive and collaborative environment, helping new colleagues integrate smoothly into the organisation.
Objectives

Expectations of a Staff Member Buddy
Buddies are expected to commit to the scheme for an initial period of six months. During this time, they will:

Reach out to the new starter within their first week to introduce yourself and offer a warm welcome.
Provide an overview of what they can expect in their first few weeks.
Regular Check-ins:
Schedule regular check-ins (e.g., bi-weekly) to discuss progress, answer questions, and provide support.
