We develop and use cutting-edge digital tools – from AI to supercomputing – to revolutionise how we understand, model and respond to the atmosphere. Our goal is to translate our fundamental scientific research into accessible, usable and actionable evidence needed to generate solutions relevant for today’s societal challenges
We develop machine learning and hybrid modelling tools to improve weather, climate, and air quality forecasting. By combining physical and data-driven approaches, we uncover insights into extreme events, improve uncertainty quantification, and push the boundaries of prediction.
