We use novel observational systems and modelling of atmospheric processes to improve our understanding and predictive capabilities of large-scale weather systems and their contribution to high impact weather events including heat waves, floods, and damaging wind storms. We work across climate and weather timescales, improving early warning systems and predicting the impact of climate change on high impact storms in the UK.
