Course: Introduction to Atmospheric Science

The National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS) is now accepting applications for its Introduction to Atmospheric Science course – a practical, hands-on training opportunity designed to introduce students and early-career researchers to the key concepts of atmospheric processes and interactions.

Running early next year, this course will provide you with a broad overview of atmospheric science, laying down the foundation for more detailed study and fieldwork. 

You will learn from leading atmospheric scientists all about:

  • Weather systems
  • Atmospheric composition of the mesosphere, stratosphere and troposphere
  • Air quality and atmospheric aerosols
  • Climate
