The National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS) is now accepting applications for its Atmospheric Measurement & Modelling Summer School – a practical, hands-on training opportunity designed to equip you with the key skills required for practical fieldwork.

Join the Atmospheric Measurement and Modelling Summer School to investigate science questions related to the local geography using a combination of observations and modelling.
Not only will you have the opportunity to learn from leading atmospheric researchers, you will also get to spend two weeks in a gorgeous location and network with like-minded individuals. You will gain confidence, experience, and in-depth knowledge of how real fieldwork takes place and learn how to use models and observations to test hypotheses that improve our understanding of the world and allow us to make better forecasts.
The course is open to anyone who works with observational data will benefit from a better understanding of how data is collected.
